The Power of Having Good Personal Networks
In this digital age, it can seem like the importance of personal networks has been severely diminished. But, Scott Choppin, Urban Pacific Founder and CEO begs to differ. In this video he lays out the power of having good personal networks.
Scott: The relationships still are with the people, with the human beings that sit on the other side of the phone, or on the other side of the email. They're the people who will take your project to the committee, and pitch it, and defend it, if they're so inclined. I think my best loans always come from well-underwritten, conservatively underwritten projects with good ideas, and good markets, but paired with human beings that know us and know our product.
